If you don’t want a job, find something you really enjoy doing and suddenly you add five extra days to your week. Writing has given me those five extra days, which is one reason why I produce this daily listing; if you get enough clients on board to create a regular workflow, you have a job which is interesting (even when the subject matter is not) and pays the bills.

Writing is rewarding in every sense of the word. Don’t be disheartened by rejection either; Niels Bohr came up with a pretty close working model of the atom (you may remember that diagram from school physics of a nucleus with electrons spinning in orbits around it) and he said: “An expert is just someone who has made all the mistakes there are to make in a very narrow field.”

My definition of an expert is this, “An ‘ex’ is has been and a ‘spurt’ is a drip under pressure.” Ignore writing ‘experts’ and follow your instincts, but most of all, simply keep applying yourself and it will come for you too.

I’ve contracted with the fetish artist Sardax to do the cover and his work is complete.
